About Us

CropTech is an independently owned agricultural contracting and agronomy company based at Sinderby in the heart of North Yorkshire.

The company was established in 1998 by Ian Harding and Chris Wood, who having spent over ten years working for different supply companies, saw an opportunity to provide the full, professional agronomy and contracting service to customers in North Yorkshire and beyond.

Initially the company operated from a customers farm with one sprayer and agronomist. 20 years later the company has gone from strength to strength and now operates from its own three and a half acre site with purpose built chemical store, workshop and offices and now has five self propelled sprayers, a range of contracting equipment and two HGV’s. The workforce has also grown and Ian and Chris now lead an experienced team of highly professional operators and agronomists.
